Hi all,

I have a real problem, and I wanted to see if anyone has an idea on how
to stop this nightmare from happening.

I have 2 friends who have computers, both use Windows 10 pro.

They've used Windows, from XP, all the way to Windows 10 pro.

Folks, I kid you not, they have gone through I'd say 20 hard drives,
they all went bad, at least 30 sticks of ram, all went bad, who knows
how many motherboards, they all went bad.

My computer guy Rick, has had to reinstall windows, I'd say 25 times, in
the last 5 years.

It never ends, ever.

How in the world can they end all these computer problems?

I thought about just having them put windows on a thumb drive, and using
the thumb drive instead of a hard drive. Then, they would not have to
use a hard drive on a computer, (they are now making 2 tarrabyte thumb
drives). So that would solve the hard drive problem

I just want to see the nightmare end for these 2 guys. They cannot
afford to buy hard drives,?? ram, and motherboards!

Different apps have portable versions, so those could work on a thumb
drive as well.

If someone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Harry
