I am using NVDA with Windows 10, and a Braille Edge display.  I will give firefox a try.

 What operating system are you using?
I know that Internet Explorer is slowly becoming obsolete and it seems that many links can not be clicked on; that is true.

Many NVDA users are using Firefox very successfully, it is what I use easily and is free to download; I like the help sections so much better than Internet Explorer and the browser works well with few failures.
