Rachel,
I was successfully able to edit a forwarded message using Window-Eyes
and Thunderbird. I don't know how to account for the differences but it
did work. It wasn't entirely smooth, as I was seeing some characters
above the message which Window-eyes identified as "unicode" and, as I
used the down arrow key from the top of the message, it read the line
"forwarded message" several times, even though I'm sure it was only
being displayed once. So the process was not totally smooth but it was
workable.
