On my Asus laptops, the FN key is on the bottom left, one key over from 
the far left. The key in the absolute lower left hand corner is the 
control key. The key immediately to the right of that, between the 
control key and the Windows key, is the FN key.

Note that the combination that lets you send your display to alternate 
monitors is also dependent on the brand and model of your machine. For 
example, ond my Dell and Asus laptops, I use FN+F8 to send my display to 
an external monitor.
