I forgot about just trying to save a document to bring up the dialog
that lets you unprotect it. That used to be my preferred way of doing
things. I don't remember whether that changed because save command
stopped bringing up the dialog in a newer version of Word or because it
didn't work in a particular environment, like on the work computer.
The dialog that displays when you try saving a protected document is the
same one that displays when you hit F6.
