Hi All,
I received an important email message about two weeks ago. It required
response, but I knew I wouldn't be able to get to it right away, so I
just left it in my inbox.
Today I sat down to reply, but I'm not finding the message anywhere.
I've tried running searches for the sender and for key words in the
subject line. I've arrowed through all the messages for the month in
case I'm misremembering the date. I've searched and arrowed through
messages in my inbox, trash, and archived mailed. I've even repeated the
process in the online interface of my email provider.. The weird thing
is that I remember this happening with a previous message from the same
sender. I would think I had hallucinated except that I find my replies
in Sent mail and that the person who sent the messages referred to the
latest one in a phone call.
Any ideas about where else / how else I might find the message? I'm
using Thunderbird and the latest Windows 10. Like I said, something
similar happened with this sender only sometime in August in a different
version of Thunderbird and Windows 10.
Thanks for any wisdom.
Ciao
