Hi all,
Responding to Bill's great comments:
1. as far as office is concerned, if all your files are .docx, .txt, or,
.rtf files, Word Pad will read and let you edit those files, and you
won't need office.
It will also let you paste in text from web pages, and, it will let you
paste in text found in .pdf files as well!
2. Windows 7 will be updated till January 1, 2020, so people have time
to stick with 7 for now.
