I wonder if these will be recorded for later listening or download?
I'll be at the ACB convention in Las Vegas. I'm surprised Joseph Lee is
having this on 7/12, since I thought he was pro ACB and wouldn't think to
compete with their convention time.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Online NVDA Conference/July 12
The following message is from Joseph Lee. It was originally posted to
the NVDA discussion list.
Dear NVDA users, fans, supporters, developers and third-party developers:
I’d like to cordially invite you to the July 2014 NVDACon. This is a
great opportunity for NVDA users, supporters and developers to gather
and talk about NVDA, including bug reports, suggestions and things in
between. More information can be found at the NVDACon page at:
http://www.nvda-kr.org/en/nvdacon.php
Date and location information:
· Date: July 12, 2014
· Location: NVDA Korea Teamtalk server (www.nvda-kr.org). Follow the
instructions posted on the NVDACon page to join our conference.
This conference is special in that there will be two special sessions
for two specific audiences:
· If you are an app developer, you’re invited to session 3 (partnership
with third-party developers to make apps accessible for screen readers)
where you’ll get a chance to talk to users who uses screen readers, as
well as receive insight on making your apps more accessible for screen
readers such as NVDA.
· If you are thinking about transitioning from JAWS for Windows to NVDA,
come to session 4 (NVDA 101 for JAWS users). You’ll learn advantages and
disadvantages of both screen readers, as well as learn concepts found in
JAWS that still applies to NVDA (such as screen review and first letter
navigation) and workarounds for features in JAWS that are not apparent
to NVDA (routing mouse and object navigation). This session is also
designed for assistive tech instructors who need to teach both screen
readers.
As well as these special sessions, we’ll have general user chat (session
1) and an update on add-ons (session 2) just like last NVDACon (March
2014). You’re welcome to attend all sessions (all sessions will be
recorded for archival purposes and will be available a few days after
the conference).
Hope to see you at the July 2014 NVDACon.
Cheers,
Joseph
