I just learned about the new payment option for Jaws, and I have a 
couple of questions about it.


For those who, like me, didn't know, there's a new payment option for 
Jaws. It's available only in the U.S. for now. Basically, you buy an 
annual subscription for $90.00 per year. You can pay for 1, 3, or 5 
years, no discount for multiple years. The purchase link and info are here:

This is nice because the price is reasonable and because you always have 
a current version of Jaws without having to buy an SMA or without having 
to pay for a series of updates.


My question are these:


* How is the renewal handled? Is there a period (of a week or two) where 
you're warned that it's time to renew?


* What happens if you don't renew? Does Jaws go into forty-minute mode, 
or do you keep your current version of Jaws?
