I'm super-excited to announce two positions, each with an 
emphasis
on accessible technology, are currently open at UNR.  Both are 
new
positions created to enhance our progress in the area of 
accessibility.

Instructional Technologist, Teaching & Learning Technologies

The University of Nevada, Reno department of Teaching and 
Learning
Technologies invites applications for an Instructional 
Technologist.
This newly created position will be responsible for providing
training and support for the creation of accessible instructional
materials and web content.  The Instructional Technologist
investigates and disseminates information regarding best 
practices
for creating accessible materials, identifies software tools used
for creating and evaluating accessible materials, and researches
accessibility & technology trends and issues in higher education.

Senior Web Developer, Marketing and Communications

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for ensuring the
University's web content meets accessibility standards per the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  The incumbent works in
conjunction with other University departments to develop and
implement training for faculty and staff responsible for creating
and maintaining any portion of the University's web presence.
