I am looking to fill a contractor position for a Digital 
Accessibility

Digital Accessibility Contractor Position

Kaiser Permanente has numerous digital properties including its 
most visible
site, kp.org, the member facing site that allows members to 
manage their
healthcare by web and mobile applications.  KP has a strong track 
record of
making its digital properties accessible to users with 
disabilities.

KP's Digital Services Group is recruiting to fill a 40 hour/week 
contractor
position to support the Digital Accessibility program.  The 
position will be
located in DSG's Pleasanton offices.

Primary responsibilities include:

*	Provide support to the Digital Accessibility Program Manager 
in
insuring that digital properties are accessible to users with 
disabilities
and compliant with ADA and other laws and regulations
*	Support developers and testers in the development of 
accessible
websites and mobile applications
*	Develop expertise in running automated accessibility tests 
and
manual testing using a screen reader, ie JAWS
*	Develop expertise in accessible PDFs to support department
requirements
*	Prepare analyses, recommendations, reports and presentations 
related
to accessibility standards, policies, tools, and initiatives
*	Develop training materials and deliver trainings for both 
business
and technical audiences

Interested parties should demonstrate skills including:

*	Expertise with use of JAWS or other screen reading software
*	Knowledge of WCAG web accessibility standards
*	Knowledge of the disabled user experience accessing digital
technology
*	Expertise with use of VoiceOver screen reader for iOS 
devices
*	Demonstrated project management skills
*	Demonstrated experience working with digital development 
teams
*	Excellent communication and collaboration skills
