Yep! Now that I think of it, we might just have a Coen Brothers Film Fest
tonight. After all, I have the DVR/TV remote locked up in my duffel. It's
not like anyone can say "no" if they can't turn the darn thing on, right?
We can buy movies off satellite for a buck each. Here's my short list of
possibles:
O Brother
Fargo
No Country For Old Men
Raising Arizona
That would put us at about midnight if we start after supper. Any other
recommendations? Nothing too dark as it's depressing enough around here
anyway. I just wish we'd either DO something or go home. BTW, Laura said
she saw our commanding general on local TV from Louisiana last night, but
the news folks that were to have interviewed us the other day never showed
up. :-(
Kat, we were in your neck of the woods yesterday. We were passing by
Winston-Salem and one of our pharmacists wanted to stop and have lunch
because she worked at Bowman Gray a few years back. She arranged to meet a
friend, but it fell through. I left my PDA back at the hooch and I couldn't
find your number through Verizon's stupid directory assistance. We would
have loved to taken you out for lunch. We ate at a steakhouse called
Ryan's. Ever been there? Food was ok, but pricey, I thought.
