I am considering the FT-991 because I'm getting interested in the WIRES X
system which a local club has a repeater for. They have given up on dStar
and returned the equipment and gone WIRES. I would also like to start
communicating with the states and globally via WIRES moving away from the
local 2M FM bores.LOL
