There are very few repeaters at all on UHF due to the military's Pave Paws
system. Unless the repeater is right up top of the band which only IDAS ones
are, anything especially eastern MA, is very low power. Definitely in MA,
stay with VHF. I can't help you on the other but if you google gemoto, there
might be help there for you.

Subject: Getting my feet wet in DMR
Hi all, OK I decided to take the plunge and get my feet wet in DMR. I have =
two questions. If I am reading the repeater directory correctly it looks li=
ke most DMR repeaters in Massachusetts are VHF not UHF, is that correct? My=
second question is where can I download a code plug for the Massachusetts =
repeaters?
Thanks
Frank
