Now that summer has officially begun, it is time to make plans for kids for
camp.

7th ANNUAL GLUTEN FREE MICHIGAN KIDS CAMP 2014 will be June 29 to July 3
and allow everyone to have the holiday at home.

We have children ages 7-12 and teen camp for those ages 13-17. Activities
include archery, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, biking,
roller blading, hiking, zip line, high ropes, rock climbing, one night of
outdoor camping, campfires, and evening group games. Teens are involved in
longer hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, or other trips depending on the
choices of the teens. The teens also have Color Day, a team building skill
experience.

This camp is a cooperative effort between the Michigan Capital Celiac/DH
Group Lansing Michigan Chapter 43 of the Celiac Support Association and the
GR YMCA. Website: www.micapitalceliacs.atspace.com. Members of our group
supervise the ingredients of all meals. YMCA provides staff for all
activities and counselors. GF kids eat in a special room.

Registration is online at www.gyrmca.org/camp.

For 2014 the cost of the camp is $355 for members and $417 for non-members.

Our group invites donors of gluten free items to help reduce the cost of
camp. We also seek sponsors of children to attend camp, and volunteers to
help in the kitchen and serve meals. We accept children with other food
allergies in addition to gluten. For the safety of the children, the camp
does not allow volunteer counselors.

Our group is selling T shirts and placemats with the logo "Happy to be
Gluten Free" All proceeds will go to help with expenses and grants for
camp. Send a email to [log in to unmask] for info.
