Yes, you are correct.
The key just to the right of the round button does work as a toggle between
upper and lower case.
I just tried it.
I knew there must be a way, so now you have probably helped a number of us.

This is covered in the manual; but if I remember correctly, press the key to
the right of the round button to switch between lower and upper case. I
believe it's a toggle.
