Hi Albert,
I've previously written to the list about the Tyte MD380 radio, which has a
VHF and a UHF model. Amazon are now selling them for $135 US, as are
Connect Systems. The main issue with any DMR radio is the initial
programming. The radios are really designed for commercial use, so they
tend to be easy to use, once the programming is done.
Cheers,
Barry VK6SP.

Subject: digital mobile radio (DMR) question
Greetings All,
One of the repeater owners here in Greenville is considering converting his
repeater from an analog system to a "DMR" repeater. Does anyone make an
accessible DMR rig? Has anyone on list had any experience with this "DMR"
system?
Thanks and best 73,
Albert, WA7FXB
