Phil,

I made 180 contacts with 75 sections in the entire contest, operating
mostly hunt and pounce, with maybe 10 hours total operating time.

K0EU had a good signal here, and I worked him on 40 early Saturday evening.

>From my Jackson Mississippi QTH, the most unusual occurrence I observed
was an 80 meter contact between Maine and California at about 5:30 AM
my time yesterday morning. Both stations were 5/7 in the real signal
reporting world. I had been trying for the Maine contact, but didn't
get him until later in the day on 20 meters.

Overall, conditions were better here on 10 meters than they were for
the CW SS 2 weeks ago, but when I would go up there, it never took long
to work everybody I could hear.

I was told by 4 stations that I gave them their clean sweep. That was
fun to know.

I snagged 3 Northwest Territory stations, and 2 from the Maritime
section, but missed the Newfoundland station that I heard.

I also missed my near neighbor, Arkansas, because both stations I heard
there were in hunt and pounce mode. And, I never heard another
Mississippi station at all. If I had needed it for a sweep, I would
have asked a local to get on the air for a contact.

>From my qth, the "Flash Mob" award goes to the MDC and Montana
sections. Those guys, especially MDC, were everywhere throughout the contest.

It was fun.
