Hi Jim!

That's really all the side swyper is anyway. You think using it should be
easy, but trying it teaches you how wrong you can be. Hi hi.

If you're like me, you probably don't use the knob on the bug, but I'm not
suggesting anyone should be like me.

Thanks for mention the SKCC. I hadn't heard of it before, so Googled it and
was quite surprised. I'm not sure how big Fists is, but SKCC really
surprised me with their claim of membership. I liked the look of their
monthly brag contest.

I was disappointed when a fellow said they didn't think there was much
interest in CW among Handiham members. The QNS for this week's BCWN may
prove the claim somewhat valid. But when I looked at the SKCC page, I was
inspired to investigate it more.

Again, this is a great list!

73,
Dave

The Straight Key Century Club had a contest a few months ago where you got
bonus points for using a side swiper, or kootie key as it's called. So I
hooked both sides of my paddle together, and attempted it. It takes some
practice, but I think I could get used to it, but it felt good to go back to
the bug after that contest, hi.

Dave,
Nope, you don't quite make the CW nut catagory, no hand key and owning a CW
keyboard should be illegal! <GRIN> Kidding of course.
Ever tried sending with a "side swiper?"
