Hi everyone. My call sign is KE5LEL and I am getting back into ham radio after close to ten years of being away. I am seeking advice on what handheld radio to get. I am trying to decide between the Kenwood THF6A or the BaoFeng BF8HP radio. I know that the BaoFeng is cheaper, but how useable is it even with speech prompts? Most people I know seem to have the THF6A, but the Baofeng has more power. What are your opinions about these two radios? Any help is greatly appreciated. I will purchase one of them this coming weekend.
