Hi!

Thanks for sharing this.

I guess by the time they discover the benefits of hd here, this fine product
probably will be gone from the market, but at least I might remember that it
existed once upon a time. Hi hi.

73,
Dave

Subject: [Electronics-talk] HD radio again

Hi all,

I just received my new Sparc TX2 from Amazon! It is truly a fine radio!
When I put in the three double A batteries, I heard static since it came up
on an empty channel and the voice was speaking immediately! It is the most
sensitive HD radio I have seen thus far! It out performs the Narrator and
another table top HD radio I have! i can hear two stations in Regina
Saskatchewan Canada, a station in Williston, North DaKota, a station in
Great Falls, Montana and one in Glendive Montana from my home in Billings
Montana! Most of these stations are 200 miles or more from me! This is
during day time hours! Great Falls is the closest station. C Crane would
not need to be ashamed of this radio! It has great sound and performance for
it's size and price! It out performs a few of his smaller radios! I'm
calling them to recommend they handle this particular radio! The radio
scans the bands very quickly! It lacks a carrying handle!

I went to a meeting in Helena which is our state capitol. I heard my first
Montana station with multiple streams. The station wasn't much to write
home about yet the radio performed nicely!

I wanted an HD radio which can get both Am FM hd streams. I finally have
it!

Jim
