Tom,

Whether or not this will work depends on the way your house is built and 
  where the shack is located:

Some guys will go in through a soffet or gable end of the house and 
bring coax down to the shack, either directly into the room, or   all 
the way down to basement or crawl space, then up into the shack.

Maybe there is some sort of ventilation opening into attic or crawl 
space that could be accessed.

Maybe flat, open wire line  through the window.  Either all the way to 
the radio/tuner, or to a balun just inside the window with coax to 
radio, or some Rube Goldberg setup of  baluns on either side of the 
window with   open wire between.
