Just guessing, but is there a chance your battery died on you?

Also sounds like your computer might have crashed on you. I know I had a
problem whenever my system would come out of hibernation mode where it
would crash and reboot on me. I Googled it and saw that others were
having the same problem. This was on my Dell at the office. I changed my
power management settings to never go into hibernation, and this solved
my problems. I don't mind since I almost always either power off my
computer or just go into sleep mode.

You might want to also check your power settings to see if your system
is hibernating on you.
