Actually I saw this in action.its done with private browsing.there is a you tube clip of it.so when you have private browsing on in firefox latest versions it load pages in 3.5 seconds compare when its not in private browsing mode where pages like anything that we load, will load in 7.5 seconds.that is what they are talking when they are comparing firefox version to chrome version.

When you say "virtual buffer" are you talking about the off screen model because I thought screen readers like NVDA and Orca don't use an off screen model so this wouldn't contribute to any slowness in pages being loaded with those screen readers. I'm also curious how a Mozilla developer can do something to make web pages load faster with a screen reader. I'd think that would have to be done in the screen reader.
