I turned mine off as well Brian. If my white cane ever starts asking me if I'm sure I want to turn left or walk down those stairs, that UAC will get turned off as well. LOL.

I have never used uac since windows 7 and I now have windows 10 and I have not had any problems I only use windows defender and I have not had any problems windows defender will scann and it does find threts.  There is just no need for uac.  If you want to have a nany thats always  asking you if you want to allow this program to make changes to your computer thats your choice but for me no thanks.  Uac is just a big piece of usless junk.
