I have had a similar problem with my right wrist. The only things I've
found which allows it to heal, is using different fingers to press the
arrows. I usually use my middle finger for the down arrow, the key I
use the most. My using my first or third finger to press the down
arrow, it changes hand position and gives the tendons connected to my
middle finger a rest. The other thing I find helps is to keep your
wrist flat which may require you to adjust the height of your chair and
/ or the keyboard. Finally, I've found that if I keep my wrists and
hands strong by squeezing a stress ball, or a couple of handgrips, it
tends to lessen the strain on my wrist and tendons.

Bill
