I have the same problem with the main Amazon site. When I go to 
Amazon.com in firefox, I wind up at the mobile site. This was fine back 
when the regular site was a mess, but now that the regular site is more 
screen reader friendly, I get annoyed with the spareness of the mobile 
site, where more steps are involved in getting product details and 
reading customer reviews.

As Don has pointed out, I don't have this problem with Google Chrome, so 
I use that when I really, really want the regular site.
