I haven't tried Chrome with JAWS or nVDA in a while, but I didn't find
it accessible with either a year or so ago. A lot can happen in a year,
and Chrome is free, so give it a try and please report back.

My success with Chrome has been using ChromeVox, the screen reader for
Chrome. See my previous post with some of my thoughts on this. It's
basically a good solution, but it does mean learning a new screen reader.

I also wouldn't go jumping from browser to browser chasing claims of
speed or security. Maybe it's changed, but they used to just leap frog
each other from release to release. It also depends a lot on the types
of web sites and benchmarks you're talking about, since each browser is
gearged to optimizing a particular technology. One thing I've noticed
myself is that Chrome is kind of a resource hog. Each tab in chrome
consumes quite a bit of resources, so it's great if you're just opening
a few tabs, but if you get more than a handful open at once, you might
start to see your overall system performance suffer.
