Brings up a good question:
When wouldn't someone want the RF gain all the way up?
I usually just leave it turned on full.

I never never touch the rf gain control but indeed it got turned all the way down.
Maybe it was the cat.

Must have grabbed it by mistake thinking I adjusted the squelch.
