You can also delete bookmarks by going into the show all bookmarks 
applet by pressing control+shift+o or selecting it from the Bookmarks 
pull down. Once you find the bookmark you want to delete, use the 
context menu as Ted suggests or just hit the d or delete key.

I also just did this. I did this on Linux, but I'm sure the same steps 
would work on Windows.
