Hi Al:
I observed that you have Verizon currently as a carrier but
nonetheless I'll offer this:
Check around with carriers in your area and look for a deal. Just
over a year ago I purchased an IPhone at a seriously diminished price
on a special promotion from a smaller carrier here in Maine. It is
unlocked and is about the size I wanted but----OMG! it isn't my color
choice. It works great, is an SE and it was more than $300 less than
anything else in the market.
Good luck; remember whichever phone you purchase IPhones will continue
to be released and yours will be considered "obsolete" soon but should
run OS updates for a while to come.
