Hi All,
When I upgraded my dinky netbook to Windows 10 Creators, I had to
uninstall Jaws to free up disk space. After the upgrade, I reinstalled
Jaws 18.
This morning, I hooked the netbook up to my classroom's projector in the
usual way. When Jaws started up, speech came out of the classroom's
speakers. I pressed enter on the Jaws desktop icon, went into Utilities,
then into Sound Card. The option checked was Windows Sound card, which
seemed like the right option. I tried checking the projector's sound
card, but nothing changed. I tried the Windows sound card again, of
course. The only other option was Headphone, and I tried that too. I
tried just plugging the headphones in to force the sound away from the
projectors speakers, but nothing changed.
What am I missing? I remember just pressing enter on an option and
speech coming out of my netbook speakers.
Before the Windows update, I would hear Jaws coming from my netbook, and
if I plugged earphones in, I'd hear Jaws through the headset. As far as
I know, I was using the exact same version of Jaws. I don't remember
which sound card I had selected because it's one of those things you set
up once and forget about.
Any wisdom?
Ciao
