To get bookmarks in Firefox in alphabetical order, go into the show all
bookmarks applet by pressing control+shift+o or selecting it from the
Bookmarks pull down. Find the folder containing the bookmarks you want
to sort, like the Bookmarks Menu and bring up the context menu with the
applications key or shift+f10. You'll see an option at the bottom that
says sort by name. Just select this option and your bookmarks will be
sorted alphabetically, both in Firefox's bookmarks pull down and in the
show all bookmarks application.

How do I get rid of the duplicates? The problem also is, I can't get them to be in alphabetical order. If I could do that then it would be easy to delete all the duplicates.
