The Access Center at Washington State University (Pullman, WA) is 
seeking a 12 mo.  Access Advisor.  Please forward this on to all

Closing date is August 23, 2015.



Access Advisor (Disability Services Specialist).  The Access 
Center at Washington State University - Pullman is seeking a full 
time (12 mo.) Access Advisor.  Responsibilities include: 
consulting and advising 250+ students with disabilities, 
reviewing documentation, developing reasonable accommodations, 
and overseeing delivery of access services.  The Access Advisor 
promotes student self-advocacy and self-determination.  This 
position serves as a point of contact with faculty and WSU 
student service offices.  The Access Advisor participates in 
campus outreach and student informational presentations.  
Candidates will possess a bachelor's degree and two years of 
professional work experience in academic advising and/or related 
student services.  Master's degree in relevant field and one-two 
years' direct experience serving students with disabilities in 
higher education is preferred.
