I just reread your message. When I did, I realized I didn't have any 
bookmarks that start with the letter B. I created one, and I discovered 
that there is a bug in Chrome for Windows. Pressing alt+f, then b twice 
brings up the Bookmarks manager (same as typing alt+shift+o), even if 
you have bookmarks that start with B.


I just reported the bug to the Chrome list. If others here notice a 
similar problem with other first-letters, let me know so I can report 
them as well. Google employees monitor the list; they tend to respond to 
bug reports.
