Hi all,
I am back up and running, with my new Gusto3!!!!
I should have never, *EVER* gotten rid of the first Gusto3 I had!
I love the braille manual for this thing, it's 4 volumes, and I'm sure
glad I did not get rid of that!
I never did this before, but I was actually able to take off the battery
cover on the back of the phone, and put the battery in myself!!! I did
not know if I could do it, but you can barely feel, the spot in the
battery compartment, but you can feel where to insert the battery.
I cannot tell you how good I feel right now, I have no words, to tell
you how thrilled I am, to be back with a phone, where everything talks,
compared to the Alcatel go flip phone, where only some things talk.
but one thing I hate is, someone sighted is going to have to help me
with turning all the accessibility features on, unless someone on the
list has the gusto3, and can tell me how to do all that. I would think I
can press the 0 key, then give the command "open settings", and settings
would open.
It doesn't tell you how many times to down arrow to accessibility, and
then go to easy setup.
You still have to follow the onscreen prompts though, which won't speak
until the readout features are turned on.
But either way, I am just so absolutely glad, that I have a phone again,
and, that everything on this phone, talks!!!!!
