Subject: [leadership] Request from Microsoft for technical Mac
VoiceOver users to test Outlook ...
Date sent: Tue, 12 Apr 2016 20:32:39 +0000
Hello Everyone,
We have been asked by the Microsoft Accessibility team to
circulate a
message concerning a high priority need for very knowledgeable
Mac VoiceOver
or magnifier users who might be interested in assisting Microsoft
in beta
testing a version of Outlook on the Mac. Users should be willing
to perform
the following tasks:
. Install pre-release software on their Mac. You should
assume that
there may be risk in this as it is beta software so caution is
high.
. Microsoft is being very aggressive about their
timeline on this.
Users should expect to engage the Microsoft engineering team next
week for
this effort.
. Familiarity with testing beta software is preferred
and strong
knowledge of VoiceOver or magnifier is a must.
Testing would be on the Office 365 platform version of Outlook.
If you know anyone that meets these qualifications then please
have them
reach out to me. My email address is [log in to unmask]
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> . I would please ask that people
try and reach
out to me by noon Eastern time on Thursday if they are
interested.
Thanks everyone.
Jeff
