I understand that Firefox is more secure than IE, however, my experience has been that "clicking", or hitting enter on a link doesn't necessarily mean that you will, in fact, click on that link, or even on another.

IE may be less secure, but I find to be clearly more consistent.

Subject: Re: [VICUG-L] keyboard commands for Mozilla Firefox?

Firefox is my preferred browser. My experience has been that things
generally work much better than in Internet explorer. There are fewer
crashes. Links and buttons respond to presses of the enter key more
consistently. I'm able to get rid of popups and tool bars more
successfully. things work so well that I hadn't noticed the Jaws review
mode doesn't work in Firefox until I tried it just now. Since review
mode seems to work in NVDA, I suspect the problem is that the folks at
Freedom Scientific haven't felt compelled to make their product play
nice with Mozilla's.

Since I'm already digressing, I'll add that I'm still having the issue
where Jaws 15 doesn't read subject lines in Thunderbird (as of about six
weeks ago). I'll tell you, when I finally make the switch to NVDA
full-time, it'll be due more to Jaws' shortcomings than to my own
personal motivation.

But back to the point ... Firefox was prone to crashing in Windows 7,
but it's much more stable in Windows 8, and again, for me, the switch to
Windows 8 has meant significant improvements in web access.
