Hi all,
In Thunderbird, you can add a new email address without having to send 
an email to do it.
Just press control n and it will say new contact.
Then, just tab down through the different fields and you will come to 
email and just type in the email address.
Then, just tab down to ok and press space bar, and your new contact with 
the new email address is now in the Thunderbird address book.
