Hi All,
I've been using NVDA more often lately, so I've been spending more time
with the manual and doing more that goes beyond my comfort zone with the
screen reader.
I realize that a major obstacle for me is that I don't understand the
various modes (e.g., focus mode, review mode, object mode, text mode). I
don't really know what they are or how they work together. For example,
while composing this message, I used the number pad commands to move to
a word, then pressed caps=lock+enter to move focus to this word so I
could delete it. Things worked fine the first time, but not the second,
and they're working sort of haphazardly. I suspect I've doing something
to switch modes, but because I don't really understand them, I'm not
sure what I'm doing.
Please someone help me get a handle on NVDA's verious modes.
Ciao
