Mike,
You probably saw the editorial in the hamdihams newsletter yesterday 
and, it seems that Icom has missed the blind hams niche market with 
the 7300.  Even if the Icom spoke, as in voiceover, I wouldn't 
personally care to have to screw around with a touch screen for my 
primary (or secondary) ham transceiver.  Some other good options out 
there and life goes on!
