Hi Tom!

That thing can stealthily get into your system in lots of ways. Pay better
attention to what you're installing, even with things that are useful, and
with luck, you will see that the google toolbar is an option during the
installation that you can opt out of.

The removal may be annoying also, wanting you to answer questions to justify
what you're doing, but just get rid of it because it isn't your friend.
Kidney stoes aren't fatal either, but no one that's ever had one wants to
repeat the experience. Hi hi.

73,
Dave

No, the google bar isn't needed for QRZ, and is what seems to be getting in
the way.

As I said, I didn't have this issue as recently as a few weeks ago.

Tom,
Is the google toolbar necessary for QRZ? I spend a bit of cfare to not get
extra, unwanted, unneeded toolbars and other extraneous crap out of my
computer. i am not a QRZ.com user so really don't know what i'm saying, but
i am always concerned when my computer picks up unwanted pieces.
just my thoughts.
