Here's another interesting site that gives band conditions on a scale of 1
to 100:
http://bandconditions.com
It's not totally accessible but you can hit the "speak to me" button and a
Microsoft SAPI file will play and give you the score for each band.

Hi Richard!
Thanks for that link. Quite a nice way to know what's going on.

Hi Mike!
The most accessible website I have found for solar reporting is at the
following link, especially the second table (Three Day SFI and A-index
Forecast). Indeed, apparently today should be an awesome day with SFI, A
and K at 126, 7 and 1. Incidentally, I have never seen the K Index as low
as it can go - "1" today.

Subject: Measuring propagation
Hi all:
What's the best source for measuring propagation, K index or others?
Is there a formula to work with or if you use the K index, the lower the
better and the higher the other index the better?
I think the K is around 4 and I just listened to our locall 75M traffic net
on an online receiver based in England and signals were very strong. 1 of
the check ins reported a K index of 4 and I think the other index he
referenced was the A and it was 120 I think.LOL Also what's a good blind
friendly site where these can be tracked?
