Completely agree Jim.  I get that garbled stuff as well and wondered 
if that wasn't some sort of encryption.  Maybe just garble!  Chicago 
P D is still running UHF analog and it is sure easy to understand!  I 
wonder if my scanner needs a better antena than the whip on the back, 
but don't know what to look for.  Something inside - not going to 
bore a hole through the brick for that!!  Not to sound like an old 
fart, which I guess I am, but it is a wonderful time for technology 
but hard to keep up!
