Howdy Phil. I have had both the Omni 6 plus, omni 5,both
Tritons and two other T-T rigs which have forgot the numbers and now I use a
590 on qsk all the time, don't hear any relay noise and the qsk in my
thinking is as good as T-T rigs are. In the old days T-T used to be good
for blind ops but they got to where they did not give a dam about that any
more and no voice readout since the Omni 6 plus. Sad but true. 73

Subject: Ten Tec Eagle

I haven't seen anyone going to any of the high end ten tec rigs, such as the
Eagle, posting about them on this list. I read some reviews on E ham.net
recently comparing it to the Kenwood TS590 and found it interesting. The
only thing I don't like about the new Icom and Kenwood rigs is the noisy
full break in CW. Ten tec has a corner on the market when it comes to CW
rigs and full QSK. Anybody used any of the new ten tec rigs?

Phil.
