Don, don't feel bad, I know a ham who had been one for a long while and he 
sent his brand new t s 440 back to kwd for no audio, he had the squelch 
turned and so it goes.  73

Don,

Is the internal speaker actually working?  If so, you would hear the voice
guide module talk through the speaker.
