Tom,
I'll be on every day starting tomorrow. I had too much going on tonight so
I couldn't operate. Look for me on 20M in the late afternoon and then on
40M in the evening. Hope to work you.

Hi Mike and All,
I also will be working in the hurricane Katrina week long special event. I
will be operating as K5L, which represents Long Beach, MS. I'll be
operating phone in the general portion on most bands.
There will be several special event certificates and QSL cards that you can
get by working some or all of the stations. You can obtain more info at
www.katrina5h.com
Hope to see some of you in the log.

Gary, N5GD

Beginning at 8 PM eastern time tonight, and concluding at 7:59 PM eastern
next Tuesday, there will be 10 stations with 1 by 1 K5 calls on the air in
Mississippi to comemorate the role played by Amateur Radio during the
aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Tonight, I will be operating K5J. I will be on 20 meter CW at 8 PM eastern,
and will be there until either 9 PM, or until the band dies, whichever
happens first.
If the band goes, I will probably move down to 40 meter CW.
This won't be quite as big a pile up as the W1AW operation, so drop by and
say hello.
