Speaking of voices and faster.  I think it is in the 590 and perhaps the 
tmv-71, when you speed up the voice, it talks like donald duck, like 
playing a 33 record on 45.  They finally got it right in the 990, for what 
that radio costs, they sure should have.  The 990 has a jack in the back 
and you can wire up a keypad or switch box and have eight additional 
functions, really neat.
I wish all of you cuould afford a 990.
