Hello Jim and everyone, yes, I did work Jim when the T31 came to the group
to work all of the guys. Stan and I had worked T31LP for about 25 minuttes
when I asked him to drop by 7163 and work the group. He was gracious enough
to drop by for a good 30 minutes and worked everyone on freq, including Jim.
T31 is relatively rare, and so it was a good snag for Jim. Drop by any
night that you can Jim, we would love to have you in the group. If anyone
else would like to try the group out, we are on 7163 every morning at 05:00
east coast time, and 02:00 AM out here.

Alan - N7MIT

Thanks Tom, will remember Alan and try to send positive prayers
and energy his way. I just talked with him around 02:00 last
Wednesday morning when we were talking to T31LP on the Amelia
Earhart project. Alan helped me get in contact with them.
Thanks Alan! Jim WA6EKS

Subject: Health Update On Our Friend Alan, N7MIT

Hello, everyone.

I have been corresponding back and forth with our friend Alan
(N7MIT),
regarding various issues pertaining to learning the I phone, and
I requested
an update on his latest health concerns.

Unfortunately, the news is not very good.

Alan has given me permission to share the news with the group.

To quote Alan himself:

"I got very bad news yesterday regarding my lung biopsy. I have
adno
carcinoma in both lungs, and have been referred to a specialist
that deals
with cancer of the lung. It sounds pretty bad, but I will fight
it."

Let's all continue to keep Alan in our thoughts and prayers.
