Sorry if I come across harsh in this post.
first of all a sincere thanks for the info. Just in case anyone's interested in why I'm asking something I should, apparently know, which, I'll give you that, I should know where to operate on hf, but I took the test in 2008, have never operated hf before, so never thought I'd need to really know the frequencies, which were on the test by the way, and, frankly over the last 7 years, have had much more pressing matters on my mind than where to operate on hf. Not to mention that I just got access to the remote base today, literally. Now that I'd been reminded of where to go, I do recakl those numbers, 28.3-28.5, I'd just forgotten them. I never said I had an any excuse to not know the frequencies, just wasn't sure where to go to get to know what they ′. I like to learn, just don't stone me for not knowing what they are. dare I ask then, how to use the w4mq software, as it seems not to be accessible with JAWS? Or will that result in another lashing from the masses? and huge apoligies to those who've not done this to me, I just felt insulted by the replys and the insinuations to my question. don't let this post detur from ever replying to my questions, I'm really a nice guy, honeest, i just forget things sometimes. I ain't as young as I used to be. also, I am in the us. sow been said here has helped tremendously. Now to go see if there's any action on 28.3-5 mhz!
Thanks guys, and, sorry if I seemed rude, just had to get it off my chest! :)calls is kd0ess, should anyone wanna talk to me on the bands, lest I've tarnished my rep forever. :)
